This distinguished award acknowledges Dr. Ojong’s exemplary leadership in pharmaceutical research, and her dedication to advancing drug development and innovation in Canada. February 2025: Dr. Yvonne Bessem Ojong wins the Recognition for Contributions to COVID-19 and Vaccine Research awarded by Gemini Events of 237 Cameroonian Excellence and the MP of Ajax Municipality, this accolade highlights Dr. Ojong’s vital work in vaccine development and public health initiatives during the global pandemic. Congrats, Yvonne!

April 2024: Dr. Kwaku Twum thesis “Functionalization of Resorcinarenes for applications in supramolecular chemistry ” won the 2023 “Most Outstanding Dissertation Award.”  This is the best dissertation for the entire Oakland University in 2023. Congrats Kwaku!!
